How To Replace A Toilet Flush Valve--The EASY Way!!!. Originally recorded October 11, 2013 ON LOCATION in Connecticut.
The toilet fill valve on this toilet took a very long time to refill the tank after flushing. Usually the reason why is because of sediment in the water supply; the sediment clogs up the fill valve which can cause slow refill times, and also might cause the valve to not stop filling (not shut off completely), wasting water.
In this video I show you how to replace your old toilet flush valve with the HydroClean HC660 Flush Valve, which has many features and benefits I will explain along the way. I also (and recommend you also) replace the supply line to the toilet, even if it was recently replaced.
All parts are available as of this writing at Home Depot, and cost less than $20. Installation time for a novice should be about 30 minutes.
